Fuse Box Puzzle and 1908 Safe Code

Prerequisites

Inspect the unpowered floodgate and its switchboard. Enter the residential building and find the wall safe beside To Martin, then continue into the radio shop. dq7reimagined labels the door Apartment 5; NerdsChalk labels it Apartment 6. GameSpew confirms the safe/code interaction without assigning an apartment number, so use the note as your landmark.

Derive and enter 1908

The radio-shop letter says the business opened 21 years before the game’s 1929 setting. Subtracting 21 from 1929 gives 1908. Return to the wall safe beside To Martin and enter that number.

Restore the Fuse Box

1. Take the electrical fuses from the radio shop.
2. Return to the switchboard beside the floodgate.
3. Trace each colored wire to the point where its matching color must continue.
4. Rotate a fuse before placing it when its connector faces the wrong way.
5. Fill the required positions and choose Validate.
6. Pull the powered floodgate lever and return to the boat.

Why the panel does not validate

• Merely filling every socket is not enough; the colored paths must connect.
• A correctly chosen fuse can still be rotated incorrectly.
• Do not search for another code when the board is full. Recheck the connector orientation.

Validation is the completion signal. A layout that only looks close has not restored power.
