Prerequisites

Public guides disagree on the door label: dq7reimagined calls it Apartment 5, while NerdsChalk calls it Apartment 6. GameSpew confirms the wall-safe interaction and code 1908 but does not number the apartment. Navigate by the interaction, not the number: read To Martin beside the wall safe, then continue to the radio shop and collect From A Sister. Do not brute-force the safe before finding the second record.

Solution

1. Open the Investigation Space and connect To Martin with From A Sister.
2. Use the radio-shop age clue with the 1929 setting: 1929 − 21 = 1908.
3. Return to the wall safe beside To Martin.
4. Enter 1908 at the wall safe and take its contents.

Outcome and failure states

Opening the investigated wall safe completes this optional route. If the safe opens but the investigation does not register, check that both evidence records were collected and connected. If the code is rejected, confirm that you are at the To Martin wall safe rather than the nearby floodgate panel.

The adjacent story blocker is a circuit, not another number; continue with the Fuse Box route.
