Prerequisites

Advance Akeley Hospital through the face-mask route until the Wireless Room is accessible. Read the note that points to the broadcasts and speak with all three brains: Ambrose Pence, Cornelius Wright, and Silas Dunwich.

Solution

1. Enter 13 as Primary: it is the unlucky number between 10 and 20.
2. Enter 5 as Secondary: round 13 to 10, then halve it.
3. Enter 36 as Tertiary: add 13 and 5, then double the sum.

Submit each frequency in sequence and wait for its acceptance signal before entering the next.

Outcome and failure states

The testimonies contradict one another by design. Do not leave the hospital looking for a fourth statement. If a value is rejected, check that you are entering one frequency at a time rather than treating 13-5-36 as a conventional safe code.
