New Game Plus and Ex Oblivione

What is verified

Complete the main story to open the replay system referred to as New Game Plus/Ex Oblivione. The mode adds an eight-document Ex Oblivione layer that does not appear in a standard first playthrough. The complete location route remains held until it has a second independent, end-to-end verification lane.

Carryover is currently uncertain

The pre-release Frogwares announcement reported that perk points, perks, and items would carry into New Game Plus. Two live guide reports instead say only learned Talents or Talent points carry. Those reports conflict with the announcement, so do not assume that weapons, keys, ammunition, collectibles, or every inventory item will survive the transition in your installed build.

Before starting:

1. Keep the completed save as a fallback.
2. Note the equipped Talents and a few ordinary inventory items.
3. Start the replay from the completion-linked menu option.
4. Compare the opening inventory with the saved note.
5. Plan the new route only from what the current build actually retained.

What not to merge

The eight Ex Oblivione documents are not replacements for base-game writings. Likewise, a broader replay reward or in-game challenge is not automatically part of the live platform achievement list.
