The Other Gods Walkthrough

Prerequisites

Find the Church Key, enter Redemption Church, and read A Call Upon Believers. Take the Star Key from the body near the floodgate, then use it to reach the upper room and the star-locked crypt. Keep two inventory slots free for the Trident.

Solution

1. Take the Trident from the upper church mount.
2. Place it on the outdoor star obelisk.
3. Use the Star Key at the crypt and collect The First Vision and the related path note.
4. Set the obelisk from low to high: womb → rhombic spearhead → crooked cross → serpent.
5. Validate, step away from the danger area, and leave the Trident in place for all three lightning strikes.
6. Recover the charged Trident and return it to the highest mount inside the church.
7. Take the stone dagger, descend by the altar lift, use the dagger at the flesh interaction, and defeat the emerging creature.
8. Return to the altar and collect the Dream Essence.

Outcome and failure states

This closes the church mystery and records The Other Gods. The separate story floodgate needs 1672 and does not require the full ritual. If the obelisk will not validate, recheck the bottom-to-top order; if the ritual stalls, wait for all three strikes before removing the Trident.
